TeK-9 cleaning out their closet

[s]clan_news[/s]

The Romanian based clan TeK-9 faced a total fiasco in this seasons WC3L Qualification by losing the first single elimination round against ieS. Now it's announced that seven out of eight players got removed from the squad.

TeK-9, a rather new clan have been quite successful considering their limits. During the last mouths they've got an invitation for NGL One together with a spot in the prestige filled WC3L qualification. Unfortunately those possibilities also became their ruin. The team had worked hard for the chance of playing those leagues, and with players such as Dollar a good result wasn't impossible to achieve.
Their dreams of world wide recognition and a spot with the best got an abrupt end when they failed to beat the first opponent in the WC3L qualification, ieS. The score ended with 1-3 and only Dollar was able to fix one point for the team.
wc3_technoboy.jpgA lot of people within the clan was unable to deal with the dissatisfaction after been kicked our from the party almost before it started, and Dollar quickly declared that he wished to leave TeK-9 for the joy of playing more qualification games with Serious Gaming. Most of the other players went inactive and the positive spirit within the clan died.
The leaders of the team saw nothing else to do than just removing everyone not active and start out the team from scratch. This resulted in that seven players from the original roster was removed, which left only one, Technoboy (picture).

A common occurrence within the Warcraft scene?

We see a lot of clans gather up, training, fighting and work really hard to achieve a common goal, which often is to play WC3L. Unfortunately not everyone can make it, and when a team fails it seems to often result in players changing teams or just losing their motivation. It's proved that one failure is enough to thorn a part everything the team tried to archive, especially among the newly founded clans.

There is still hope for TeK-9!

The same announcement that TeK-9 gave telling that they removed several members also told about an interesting recruit. Sagar "Darkboi" Vaishnav, also known as SAiNT2k is an Undead player you might have seen during the events of ESWC 2006 or WCG where he have been the qualified player from one of the lesser known gaming nation, India. His statement after joining TeK-9 was:

"I am very happy that TeK-9 is giving me place in their team, TeK-9 showed some nice performance in past for warcraft and quake and i hope with the new TeK-9 we will progress more, TeK-9 has given me chance to show my talent and for that i will try my level best to do justice to the team."

With two players, Technoboy and Darkboi, TeK-9 will struggle for new success and hopefully some additional members to the roster.
