Just like last year, the fans of the WC3L has had the ability to cast their votes on players throughout the season. The rookie of the Season turned out to be WE.IGE.Sky!
Rookie of the Season, Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player are the three categories in the WC3L you have been able to vote for. The WC3L administration now brings forth the results. First up is the Rookie of the Season award which turned out to be very close this year between two players. Many say that this was a bit of unfair, since Sky is not exactly a rookie to the scene - perhaps to the WC3L but not internationally. He is of course mostly known for winning the World Cyber Games 2005 in Singapore. Even though not a rookie to the scene, the whole World Elite squad are new to the WC3L, and therefore he counts as a rookie, litteraly.
Coming in on second place is the Russian Human player fnatic.XyLigan, with only 1,2% behind. Voices in the comments at WC3L.com say that he is a more worthy winner of this title. "XyLigan on the otherhand was completely unknown and no one expected anything of him." writes Providence, in the comments.
