All of the teams are well-known team, some has even played in the WC3L. Teams that played in WC3L this season and will take part in the NGL qualifiers are the German team LanFan and the American team United 5.
United 5 managed to win the WarCraft Premier League Season 4, and are surely strengtened by that for this upcoming match. But their Canadian star player Canuck has left the team, after fake-nicking for another clan in the AHL League. Even though he is a good player, they should have players to back him up. es4x » The matches will be played in King of the Hill-format, meaning each team seeds the players and they start with one match. The winner of the match stays put while the losing team will have to send in another player. This goes on until five players of one team are eliminated. The games are played best of one. And as GadZ writes at MeetYourMakers, this is probably how the game format will be in the regular season too.
