A new Korean league has been formed. And not just any league. The top two players will be qualified for the ESWC 2006, plus the representatives for Korea in the World eSports Festival. The league's name is MBC International League!
MBCGame is one of the biggest channels in South Korea regarding gaming, rivaling against the bigger channel OnGameNet. MBCGame's previous league MWL Season I, which was a somewhat successful league, has now ended and instead they present the MBC International League, MIL for short. Why it's called international is because of the connection with Electronic World Sports Cup and the World eSports Festival. The top two players in this league will be South Korea's representatives in the two offline events.
The league will begin on March 18 in a WEG-like format. 16 players have been invited and divided into groups of four. The groups are as follows below:

An interesting note is the lack of Orc players. By looking at the table, you see that there is only one Orc player participating, and that is WE.IGE.FoCuS. Also there are quite a few Humans, only NiP-Rainbow and play.HomeRunBall. It looks to be a really tough tournament with many nice games. GosuGamers wishes the best of luck to all the participants!
