Yesterday, the remaining eight players were announced for the WarCraft 3 BlizzCon invite tournament, and it was surely two very heavy names. The Blizzard Worldwide Invite champion MaDFroG and the reigning WCG champion Grubby. Grubby was the first-ranked player, and MaDFroG was ranked 6th. This makes the final list complete, and surprising to see, there is only one Korean in the midst. Sweden and USA both have two players in there. Also an interesting note is that there are only three clans (SK-Gaming, Four Kings and mousesports) represented.
Several invited players uanble to attend
On the BlizzCon site, Blizzard wrote that there were several other players that were invited, but due to government issues, they could not attend. It is highly likely that it involved Chinese gamers, as this has happened before. However, the starting field looks very nice, two players from each race.
GosuGamers will of course be on spot and give you all the coverage.
