Riot presents a unique Cypher art piece in the new project Catalyst.
Riot Games teamed up with esports personality Jeremy “DiguisedToast” Wang and artist Moya Garrison Msingwana to create a “DiguisedToast” Cypher art piece. This marks the first piece of the new VALORANT project called “Catalyst”.
According to Riot, Catalyst aims to take future inspirations and interprets them into modern pieces of culture.
DisguisedToast is a popular content creator and esports organization owner. He drew a lot of attention after creating DSG and competing in VCT. He recently announced the new roster of DSG Game Changers and the team looked promising.
DSG will now compete in the upper bracket final of VCT Game Changers NA Series 2 for NA points. The team ranks sixth in the North American standings. The top two teams will qualify for the VCT Game Changers Championship in November.
On the other hand, Moya Garrison Msingwana is a visual artist fluent in traditional painting and digital rendering. His infatuation with form and character led to most of his art creations featuring the human body and its relationship with the world around it.
The piece features Cypher with a head resembling the popular logo of DisguisedToast. Cypher Toast looks like he is thinking while sitting on a box on top of his inactive cage. The project took a month to make a reality.
DisguisedToast was known for his intellect and strategic way of playing games. His name drew a lot of attention during the popular days of the multiplayer social deduction game, Among Us.
The Cypher art piece is the first addition to project Catalyst. This opened up a possibility for content creators, personalities, and pro players to have their own art pieces. Riot has yet to announce the upcoming pieces for project Catalyst.
