VALORANT Shuffles: Dephh completes the Sentinels 2023 roster

He will probably be the new in-game leader to guide the team through next year’s season.

Rory "dephh" Jackson, formerly of XSET, has been revealed as the final piece of the puzzle for the famous NA team Sentinels for 2023. He joins Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi and Bryan "pANcada" Luna, Tyson "TenZ" Ngo and Zachary "zekken" Patrone. His former coach from XSET, Don "SyykoNT" Muir will be helping the team through the season.

Formerly a CS:GO player, he went pro with VALORANT in June 2020 and played with Dignitas first before moving to XSET in 2021. With XSET, he helped the team with a few top-four finishes in the North American VCT circuit. He helped the team to qualify for two international events – Masters Copenhagen and Champions 2022.

While we have the final line-up for the team, the role of IGL is still unknown as we move into 2023. Presumably, however, dephh will be taking over the role. With this signing, the revamped roster for Sentinels is complete, and the team will be ready to start VCT 2023 with a bang, with the first tournament set to play in Sao Paolo early next year.

When asked in an interview with Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik, dephh commented on his expectations for the team next year.

“I think Sentinels learned their lesson last year. Player-run rosters and [big] personalities, sometimes they clash, and I think they realized from last year that the structure that me and [head coach] Don brought and even [strategic coach] kaplan having success on a team like Ghost Gaming. I think they just realized, ‘Hey we’re going to have a new approach this year,’ and I think that’s why I’m so excited to play for Sentinels.”
