A Viewer's Guide to Rivalcade Overwatch Rumble

EnVyUs, Rogue and all the other top NA teams are playing in this weekend's Overwatch Rumble.

You'd better be ready for a long day of matches, because the Rivalcade Overwatch Rumble is going to deliver. Sixteen of the best North American teams are ready and waiting in the group stage, hoping to qualify for tomorrow's Double-Elimination Playoffs.

Each group has been composed of two invited teams and two teams that qualified through this week's Qualifier. EnVyUs and Rogue are still available, right before their trip to Korea for APEX Season 3.

When

  • Saturday April 22nd, 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT /21:00 CEST

Prize Breakdown

  • 1st Place - $6,000

  • 2nd Place - $3,000

  • 3rd Place - $1,000

Group A looks to be a fairly easy first phase for Rogue, a team which wants to continue their 27 win-streak. Cloud9's new roster featuring the Korean duo of Xepher and Selly will have to deal with returning Immortals as well as GFE and Tempo Storm (which beat NRG in the Qualifier).

Selfless' style has been figured out over the past weeks, but is still a force to be reckoned with. LG Evil as well as enVision and You Guys Get Paid? will try to break through, or they might become the favorites for their group instead. Meanwhile, all eyes are once again on NRG and the rest of Group D. Arguably the hardest group of the tournament, EnVy's first matches against NA in a long while can really go either way. Will they show us nV is still in the top dog in NA (though often absent) or will Liquid or a newly inspired NRG take the top two spots?
