Get Ready to Rumble! Rivalcade to host the $10,000 Overwatch Rumble this April

Spring heats up with the Rivalcade Overwatch Rumble held this April! Tune in to watch the best of the best NA has to offer, including EnVyUs once again.

On the last weekend of April, Rivalcade is bringing in 8 invited teams to their Overwatch Rumble. But these teams aren't just battling themselves, they will be joined by 8 qualifying teams. Qualifiers will be held in Single Elimination Bo3 format with teams duking it out on Tuesday, April 18th.

The format for the Saturday Group Play is a Bo3 Round Robin with 16 teams broken into 4 groups. The top 2 teams of each group will advance into Sunday's Double Elimination Bracket. Sunday's format is Bo3 as well with the Grand Finals that night held in Bo5 fashion. For more information, viewers can check out Rivalcade's Overwatch Rumble page.


  • Open Qualifier: Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 @ 7pm PST / 10pm EST

  • Group Play: Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 @ 2pm PST / 5pm EST

  • Double Elimination & Grand Finals: Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 @ 2pm PST / 5pm EST

  • John “JoRoSaR” Sargent

  • And Christian “Huerix” Thomasser


Prize Pool: $10,000

  • 1st Place: $6,000

  • 2nd Place: $3,000

  • 3rd Place: $1,000


The invited teams for this tournament are: EnVyUs, Immortals, Rogue, LG Evil, Cloud9, Splyce, compLexity, and Selfless Gaming. After the Carbon Series, this Rumble is LG Evil's chance to rematch Immortals and win. EnVyUs is also finally playing in a North American event yet again, and they will have to prove to everybody that they are still the best in the region. If you are interested in joining the battle, sign-ups for the Qualifiers can be found here.
