It’s news, but not really. NRG finally welcomes its two final players.
North American crowd favorite NRG has finally found their last two players to complete their roster. After parting ways with Gods and Pookz in the beginning of November 2016, speculation has been going around on who’d fill these two spots. After Anthony “Harbleu” Ballo horribly kept the secret of him joining the roster for a while, he has now been confirmed to take one of the spots in the team. NRG says in their statement that Harbleu will take the role of flex player. Joining him will be Alex “Ajax” Jackson, as support and their new in-game leader. Ajax is not unfamiliar with the Overwatch scene, having been on teams such as Splyce and Renegades.
The team has been inactive for quite some time, their last game being against Cloud9 in December last year for MLG Vegas. NRG also recently withdrew from the Overwatch Pit Championship that's announced for March/April. We hope the absence has only done them good, because the NA scene has become more and more competitive in their absence.
