  • Esports Team of the Year

The first three listed categories will be decided by public vote, which you can contribute to here. The voting closes at midnight on the 19th of November.

Overwatch has obviously been featured as New Esports Game of the Year. Since the official release in May this year, 20 million players have been registered in the Overwatch scene, with approximately 15 million active players. Next to the active player count, the competitive Overwatch scene has grown insanely fast. With already a $300,000 tournament, Overwatch will continue the way to reach the top of Esports games.

Surprisingly, no professional Overwatch player or team has been featured in one of the categories. Something to look forward to next year’s Esports Industry Awards for sure!
