Teams to look out for

FaZe

After making a run to the final of yesterday’s weekly, FaZe has cemented yet again that they are not a team to be taken lightly. They add their second place finish to a growing trophy case which includes three ESL King of the Hill wins and a second place finish at the Alienware Monthly Melee for August. Look for them to repeat their performance and likely take the win today.

Tempo Storm

Things are looking up for Tempo Storm. After a rough August where they fell apart and were disqualified from the OW Open, they formed this new squad and have had some impressive performances since. After a good show vs FaZe in the ESL King of the Hill and a top 4 finish in last week’s North American weekly, this team looks to be on the up and up. Expect big things from this squad today.

Team LDLC

Formerly Le Mixx, this European squad features players from Sweden, Germany, France and Romania. Their diversity does not seem to have affected their performances too much, as they’ve risen to be ranked 13th in Europe. These relative new-comers will try to make a name for themselves today.

teamOFsnow

There’s nothing relative about this team being new-comers. After earning a spot in ESL’s King of the Hill #5, they put up a good show, taking a game off of Tempo Storm. Our weeklies have always been a good place for new teams to make a name for themselves. Look for them to come out swinging and try to build on the momentum of their strong showing earlier in the week.
