The Life of Hanzo is now living The Life of Team Liquid

Team Liquid, an organization that always seems to be willing to invest in up-and-coming scenes, announced today that they have picked up The Life of Hanzo as their official roster.

Right in time for the ONOG Invitational (that is happening right now!!), one more team has managed to attract the attention of a major eSports organization. As of this moment, the players of The Life of Hanzo will now be representing the TeamLiquid family.

Team Liquid (Rank 11):

The Life Of Hanzo was one of those teams that maybe didn't get quite the amount of attention they deserved, but was highly respected by those invested in the scene including other players. With major other teams like IDDQD and REUNITED still not playing for major sponsors, it might be surprising that TLOH was picked by Team Liquid. But in their official statement, TL explained why:

"During our search we eventually got in touch with dummy from The Life of Hanzo. Upon talking to him we immediately felt we had found a strong leader and a team with great potential. As with any team game, so much about advancing yourself into a winning position is about having the right attitude. This roster has an abundance of that, and they combine it with an incredible amount of talent. Those of you who have followed other scenes such as Quake, TF2, and Counter-Strike will recognize some of the names on the roster as a few of the best players to have played those games. Today they will join the ONOG Overwatch Invitational to test themselves against the best out there. Welcome to the family AZK, DaHaNG, dummy, Frisco, MESR and vee."

The official release also mentions player AZK's matchfixing history in CS:GO, something we only heard official explanation of a few months ago. Team Liquid feels like AZK deserves a second chance, and is willing to give him that second chance in this way. We hope AZK will do well in the scene, through hard work and dedication, and wish him and the rest of his team all the best in the bright future of competitive Overwatch.
