GamersOrigin is organizing a €1000 cup on April 17th

Seems like the French are warming up to Overwatch especially. After the Metatrone Cup and Gamers Assembly, now French organization GamersOrigin will be hosting their own €1000 cup!

Event Hub - Official Announcement

We are getting closer to an odd transitional period, when Closed Beta turns into Open Beta turns into Public Release. A lot will obviously change when the floodgates open and every person will be able to interact with the game. One might expect that a lot of tournament organizers are waiting for the game's official release to invest into Overwatch, but we are still seeing plenty of organizations join the scene even now.

You might have seen GamersOrigin cast our GosuGamers Overwatch Weeklies, but on April 17th they will host their first own Overwatch cup in partnership with GosuGamers, and sponsored by Glory4Gamers. The players will be competing for a grand prize pool of €1000. A total of 7 teams have already been invited, but the remaining 9 (or even 25 if enough teams sign up to enable a 32-team bracket) are still open for any team that is able to sign up in time!

General Information:

The usual top teams have been invited, yet there are still plenty of teams that could sign up and take the title. Expect teams such as Luminosity Gaming and IMPULSE 11 to participate as well and possibly win some money.

The official page of the tournament will provide you with all the tournament rules, and will also be the place to register your team! Registration will open on Monday, so don't forget to put it in your schedule or risk losing out on a spot.
