Guide to the GosuGamers NA Weekly #10!

Overwatch Gosu “GosuGamers” Gamers

It's Sunday, and yet another GosuGamers NA Weekly is here! Here's a guide to the streams and the teams to help you follow the action.

16 teams will battle it out, and with competition getting fiercer and fiercer every week, you can sure we'll get an awesome tournament! Last week's NA weekly saw the rise of Code7, who achieved  a convincing win over Luminosity.gg, but even they couldn't stand up to the might of Cloud9.gg, being taken out 3-0 in the final. The prize pool will be at least $480, which can be increased by donating on Matcherino.com. Anyone can use the coupon code "GGNA10" to donate $1 for free!

Streams

The broadcast will go live at 21 CEST / 15 EDT / 12 PDT. The tournament will be casted on Twitch in a number of languages. Click the link for your preferred language.

Predictions

To help you get an idea of where the teams stand, here's my predictions!

#1 Cloud9.gg

Cloud9 took home first place in last weeks NA weekly, quite convincingly taking out Code7 3-0 in the final. Aside from what was seemingly a fluke 2-1 loss to Luminosity a few weeks ago, they've looked quite unplayable on the NA side of things. EnVyUs will be sitting this tournament out again, but even if they were playing, Cloud9 would still be favorites.

#2 Code7

Code7 made the final last week after a convincing 2-0 win against Luminosity, and they also nearly beat EnVyUs just a few weeks ago. I don't like their chances against Cloud9, but they have a great chance of making the final if the brackets favor them.

#3 REUNITED.gg

Reunited are coming off of an impressive 3-2 loss against IDDQD in the EU weekly final. After such a strong performance, it wouldn't be a stretch to put them at #1 on this list, but the ping disadvantage is very strong and will probably give other teams a leg up over them. They have a good chance of taking the tournament with a little bit of luck, but could easily lose games we wouldn't expect due to their higher ping.

#4 TLOH

The Life of Hanzo haven't played too much lately, but I have a lot of faith in their lineup, which includes notable former Quake players id_ and DaHaNg, as well as Mesrawr, who made his name in beta 1 playing for NotEnigma. I don't fancy Luminosity right now unless they regain some confidence, and since Impulse 11 will be playing with a ping disadvantage, I give TLOH the nod for 4th. I believe this could very well be a breakout tournament for them, and it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see them in the final.

Underdogs

IMPULSE 11 have done quite well lately, notably beating Luminosity 2-0 in yesterday's EU weekly, but are an EU team, and thus will playing with ping disadvantage. Luminosity.gg have been struggling lately, but with the amount of raw talent on their team, there's always a chance that things will click for them and they'll perform better than we might expect.
