COBX Indian Esports Championship is a new online event that will feature an INR 10,00,000 (approximately $15,000) prize pool to be split between both Dota 2 and CS:GO.
COBX Gaming will be launching COBX Indian Esports Championship with the open qualifiers April 28th. 256 teams can register HERE to participate in the event. As per the rules, all teams must be must be of Indian nationality and residence only. All other applicants will be rejected or disqualified.
All matches will be streamed on COBX Gaming’s YouTube Channel.
COBX Indian Esports Championship will feature three prominent phases:
Phase 1: Open Qualifiers
- April 28th to 30th
- Teams will compete online in a single elimination bracket
- Each match will be a best of one
- Top eight teams will progress to the playoffs
Phase 2: Playoffs
- May 1st to 14th
- Top eight teams from Phase 1
- Double elimination bracket
- Each match will be a best of three
Phase 3: Grand Finals
- May 16th
- Top two teams will battle it out to claim the Championship title
COBX Indian Esports Championship Prize Pool:
Total prize pool for Dota 2 is INR 5,00,000 (~$7,700.) All eight teams in Phase II will receive a portion of the prize pool.
