With April being a bit of a quiet month for Dota 2 compared to all the WCS and DreamHack action for StarCraft 2, Blizzard's RTS climbs to second place, leaving Valve's product third. League of Legends continues to hold the top spot.
Riding the wave of multiple premier tournaments including all three World Championship Series circuits as well as the excellently produced DreamHack Stockholm, StarCraft 2 recorded an increase of one spot, putting it to #2. In comparison, March's second place finisher - Dota 2 - suffered from a long period of low activity between the Starladder finals (April 10th) and EMS One (April 20th), combined with the heavy travelling/bootcaming schedule of the teams, which would explain its minor drop in popularity.
Curious is the +2 rise of Blizzard's Diablo III, which climbed up to 8th place, likely elevated by the release of patch 1.08 on the PTR. The other RPG of Blizzard - WoW: Mists of Pandaria - remains on fourth place.
