The first day of GEST March playoffs came to an end, with MiTH.Trust and Chains Stack heading to the Grand Finals. The finals will take place tomorrow at 12:00 CET. The winner will be walking away $1,000 richer.
Day one of GEST March 2013 playoffs is over and the finalists that will be playing in tomorrow's Grand Final are MiTH.Trust and Chains Stack.
The first round of the play-offs began with a surprise, as technical issues forced JoeNet players to forfeit against Chains Stack. Chains Stack then defeated NeoES.TH in three games, winning the first and third game through impressive solo mid plays by JohnNy.
Last month's GEST winner, Invasion-MUFC was playing with three stand-ins from First Departure and lost both their games against MiTH-Trust.
At the same time, GEST February second placer, NeoES.Orange took down Ultimate without their off-lane player, Kang Yang 'Ky.xY' Lee. NeoES.Orange's sixth player, KecikImba took up the carry role for the day while Yee Fung 'Mushi' Chai played the solo mid role. NeoES.Orange's run in this month's GEST was ended by Thai team, MiTH-Trust in the semi-finals.
The Grand Final game between Chains Stack and MiTH-Trust will begin at 12:00 CET tomorrow. The winner of the tournament will be walking away with $1,000 while the second placer will have to settle for $500.
