Day one of GosuCup Asia IV is played through, some strong teams are still remaining amongst the top 16 while others were eliminated during the first four rounds.
The intense day one is over, with four rounds in total played, stepping down from ro256 to ro16. Some teams had to forfeit their participation, such as Neolution.int and Elunes. Noticeable eliminations so far are Chain Stack getting eliminated by RisingStars, ForLove losing to Thelema (a roster similiar to the one of Fumoffos Throw FanClub), both Execration and 1st.VN dropping to alanter's team NuTz, First Departure losing to deperruku and then deperruku getting eliminated in the next round by the team with the memorable name SowoneuL Malhaebwa.
Tomorrow the action continues with round five (with 16 teams remaining) at 13 SGT, 07 CET.

The prize purse of $1000 is split up into $500 for the champion, $300 as runner-up and $200 for the winner of the third place decider. All matches are played as "best-of-1" with only semi-finals, third place decider and final being a set of up to three games.
