StarLadder Starseries Season V: The battle is heating up

It's been two weeks since StarLadder launched their 5th Season. Virtus.Pro lead the scoreboard but everything is still possible and this weekend features a lot of games.

Russian team Virtus.pro is looking strong, sitting at seven wins and two losses. They conceded these two losses however against Empire and Fnatic, who have less games played and could pull ahead. NoTidehunter also has only conceded one loss, winning four games in return.

eL'Pride and 3D!Clan scored four wins each as well, however lost three games each. They are closely followed by Natus Vincere, who after struggling badly in the beginning have managed to win twice yesterday and keep the hope of reaching Kiev alive. The Ukrainians however have to win every game from now on to make things count. The new roster seems to be working well though.

It looks slightly better for mousesports who have three wins as well, but it is rather uncertain how they will perform now, seeing as their leader KuroKy is gone. They already played the Eizo Cup without him and dropped out against z4.

On the bottom of the table it looks rather dim for fota, TCM-Gaming, Power Rangers and 3DMAX. While Fota and 3DMAX could technically still make it into a top position, TCM-Gaming and Power Rangers have poor results, despite good performances.

A lot of intense match-ups await us this weekend. Mouz will meet aL tomorrow, as well as fnatic on Sunday. NoTidehunter, Na'Vi and many more have matches as well, covered by Sheever and TobiWan in English, or v1lat in Russian.

There is also the in-game ticket, which features a new courier and access to the Ritmix Russian Dota 2 League.
