In a recent interview, mTw's new support player Hugo 'Dutch_Freak' Bos shares his opinion on the current scene, his team mates and mTw's future.
Since they reshuffled their roster some weeks back, mTw have not had a lot of media presence. In an interview with rtsguru.com, their support player Hugo 'Dutch_Freak' Bos talks about his prior absence from the competitive scene and his newfound home in the form of mTw. The interview also reveals a bit about his personal life and his thoughts on Sven and Magnus, two of the top tier heroes in the current scene.
You were recruited by SyndereN in Mortal Team Work (mTw) recently, as it was hit by a re-shuffle again post The International 2012. How does it feel being back in the competitive arena after such a long hiatus?
"It actually came as a huge surprise to me, Synderen suddenly asking me to play for mTw. At first I was really hesitant since my dota skills became somewhat sloppy and a busy IRL wasn't helping either. But the next day i thought: 'F**k it! I can't decline an invitation to mTw !!'. I didn't regret it for a moment. 90 minutes games vs Empire is what you do it for, it's so much fun!"
As we all know by now, mTw has been hit by roster reformation twice. This is the third reformation in which you are a member. Are there any concerns regarding the stability and how certain are you of your tenure in the team?
"I think many teams disband due to a clash of personalities, rather than results and stuff. All of my teammates are awesome, and I would be quite surprised if there would be any conflicts. I think that we can easily stay together until the next international."
Every team has certain goals/aims. What is the goal of your team (besides winning The International 2013) as well as the future plans?
"We will focus now on The Defense & Thor. My goal is to go top 4 in The Defense. Synderen won't be satisfied with anything less than #1 ofc, unless he first-bloods Dendi in mid. Then it's all good."
