First day at DreamHack Winter 2012 Corsair Vengeance Cup is over. Here's a little summary of the day and the content we brought you from Jönköping.
The headline of the day was definitely XBOCT saying "We need to go to China before The International." He was kinda complaining about being stuck in Europe, fighting lower class teams in competitions while the Chinese teams get better and better fighting themselves.
Today, Na'Vi had two tough games against AL and 3DMAX in group A, but the games were probably a bit closer than necessary because of the picks from Na'Vi's side. KongoTime wrote a little summary of group A's outcome with Na'Vi and Absolute Legends continuing into the playoffs.
Tomorrow we will see the BYOC teams joining the competition. SkyHigh and Sweet N China have made it into the main round of DreamHack. Pulse eSports is also going to have their first matches. Here is a preview interview from their bootcamp before the tournament.

Interview-wise, this was a rich day. Bamboe stated he always was a solomid player in his heart. HawaiiOo from 3DMAX explained how much he likes things going well for his team at the moment.
MaNia from Absolute Legends still thinks their draft against Na'Vi was the better, but still they lost the game for first place in group A. Jeyo showed confidence in his team, stating "we can win the whole thing." Well, the first loss against NoTidehunter is already dampening the enthusiasm.
While our interview with Black got videobombed by KuroKy, the first interview with Draskyl in Europe went much more smoothly.
If you are unfamiliar with the halls and the Elmia location in Jönköping, you shouldn't miss KongoTime's walk around at the location, while lights were still on. That stage is huge!
