This time around, Pubwatch brings you the controversial Maelk. A strong veteran in the scene, let's find out if Maelk can support his friends in a pub.
Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen, like many other prominent professionals, started his career playing Warcraft 3. Playing Dota as a hobby alongside WC3, Maelk quickly fell in love with the game and started playing seriously. Forming and switching a couple of teams, he was eventually picked up by MYM in 2006 as the team rose to greatness.
Following the disbandment of MYM after the first International, Maelk avoided the game for a while, only to start playing again as a stand-in for EG - a team containing his former team mates from MYM. In February 2012, he was signed as an official member of EG.
Now, with recent changes to the EG roster as Universe and Bulba leave and bdiz and Jeyo replace them, it's a good time to check out how Maelk's play fares on the pub scene.
