As drawn live on the official joinDOTA stream yesterday, here are the groups of The Defense's third season. Group B will feature Empire, Kaipi and NEXT.kz, three teams who are currently battling for first place in GosuLeague V.

Due to recent changes in the clan scene uebelst-gamynG and Shiba-Gaming don't field enough players to be able to compete and have therefore been replaced by Swedish reinforcements, namely FUBAR and 4FC.

Each group will be joined two additional teams from the open qualifier, turning The Defense III into the biggest online-held Dota 2 tournament as of yet.
