Play Fantasy League for Dreamhack Winter

Only hours after the completion of Fantasy League's previous season dedicated to G1-Champions League, the folks behind DotA Academy updated the team pools and bring you a brand new competition for DreamHack Winter just in time.

The procedure works as usual: Log into the website through Steam, create a team with name and flag, sign players of official DreamHack Winter teams and watch them obtain points based on their performances. Whoever makes the smartest deals and predicts the outcome of the event most accurately will succeed in the end.

This will be the third season of Fantasy League in total after having previously supported The International 2 as well as G1-Champions League, and the popular manager simulator for Dota 2 has since then seen a lot of tweaks.

Within the scope of the announcement, project manager Bruno 'Wicked' Carlucci further introduces a new custom league system which will allow every registered account to create one unique Fantasy League for public or private purposes.

The captain system, which let managers determine a player who would rake in 1,5 times as many points based on his performance over everybody else, has been replaced by a "CAPTROLL" system. Setting a CAPTROLL will reward you with additional points the worse that player performs.
