First up - Empire vs Eclypsia.
Empire is currently being very impressive with their winning streak (which was ended by Na`vi in the Starladder LAN finals) and dominance throughout Europe only losing to the European Champions, Na`vi. Eclypsia, being the former captain of Na`vi and Darer that captained the team to The International 2011’s victory would be the opponents of Empire. Eclypsia’s performance are anything but dominant. The results have been lacking so far despite the team containing few of the best and respected players, they could not produce any results.
Predictions: Unless Eclypsia can pull off an unorthodox and suprising picks, I expect the game to go to Empire’s way. BUT, Artstyle has proven to be able to pull of some amazing tricks that would lead his team to victory. There’s a reason why he was the 2011 International’s team captain.
Next - MYM vs Dignitas.
MYM (formerly TTB and Copenhagen Wolves) as a team has much synergy and potential. They've had their ups and downs, and as a team, they’ve achieved much as well. With that being said, Dignitas (formely known as Potm Bottom) are no joke. They can be described as “on fire”, though post TI-2 they did lose some their fire but they still remained dominance throughout tournaments.
Predictions: MYM has the ability to pull off a game win or taking the series if they played to their maximum potential. But, Dignitas wouldn’t probably let that happen. I expect an amazing series among these 2 teams. It’s hard to tell who would win the series but if I must, I think the winner would be Dignitas.
