New and experienced teams alike are invited to the upcoming Dota 2 - GosuCup 1 Asia starting in more or less a day from now. A $1,000 prize pool is up for grabs and a maximum of 256 teams will be admitted.
There will definitely be high-level matches in this open tournament, as we see known teams enlisting on the tournament. Among those are:

There are definitely more good teams that I have failed to list, and there may still be recognized teams registering before the event begins.
Having these teams on the league should not discourage the new teams,on the contrary,this will be the perfect chance to gauge your team level and/or compete on a high-level match / tournament with nothing to lose. And who knows, you might just be the next big thing. Registration will be open until the tournament begins.
The tournament will kick off this Saturday,on the 13th of October and we'll crown our first champion the day after.
The prize pool of $1,000 is split up into $500 for the champion, $300 for the runner-up and $200 for the second runner-up. All matches will be played on "Best-of-1" except for the match-ups from the semi-finals up until the finals, which will be played on Best-of-3.
