IGS had a successful first run last year, and things are looking bright for the second installment of the event. They have offered various game titles to be feautered, including WC3 DotA and Dota 2. The event will be held at the Assembly Hall JCC Senaya, Jakarta this October 12-14, 2012.
While WC3 DotA and Dota 2 are the big catches, other PC game titles such as Crossfire, Counter Strike Online, CS:GO, Shadow Company and Point Blank will be contested. There will also be Console Game tourneys (Fifa, Tekken), overclocking competition and mobile gaming matches among many others.
The Dota 2 tournament Champion will be Indonesia's representative for WCG '12 (China) and The Asia (Malaysia). The WC3 DotA and Crossfire champ will also represent their country for the WCG.
The event will not only cater players, but also game publishers and developers alike. Seminars and conferences will be held, with support to and from the country’s gaming hardware industry. The fans will also be treated with cosplay competitions and live bands.
