Starting on the 22nd of August and ending at the 25th in Berlin Germany the competition hosted 16 players from around the world. Kaelaris was the main caster for the four day tournament with a prize pool of $25,000. A group stage eliminated half of the players where the rest went off to a winner's bracket complemented by a loser's bracket.
SuperNova started his convincing run in the winner's bracket against ForGG winning 2-0. Beating Snute 2-1 sent him ahead to face HasuObs, where he won 2-0 to get a one victory head up on the BO7 finals. Five games and some technical difficulties later, SuperNova walks out the victor 4-1 against Snute.
