Day[9] and Red Bull Present: The Xel'Naga Games

Red Bull and Day[9] has teamed up to give you a new Starcraft 2 experience - custom games where the audiance can affect the match with all kinds of superpowers.

Details are still a little scarce as no listings have surfaced but it seems like the tournament will be played by the pros . The audience can use its "super-powers" at any time to cause drastic changes in the match, creating a custom sort of tournament with audience participation.

Day[9] has been on a personal break for some time, but along with doing TSL and IEM it seems he's been busy all along. Partnering with RedBull to bring us a special treat, the tournament is scheduled for PAX Prime happening August 31 to September 2 in Seattle.

The maps are all Xel'Naga themed with the following elements: Fire, Jungle, and Storm. Each map will feature several different powers for the audience to use. A new power is scheduled to be revealed each day up to the event itself, check out the first here:
