Fourth qualifier done

With last Sunday the fourth qualifier finished and we got two more players thrown into the mix for the final 12 qualifications.

With the fourth qualifier behind us we already got 8 out of 12 players for the tournament stage qualified and hence only need four more.
Eight of those twelve players will then advance from the groupstage and fight it out in an eight player bracket with the winner taking home the $100 prizepool. The top four, however, will already qualify for the second season of GosuCup, which will hold a total of $500.

This week the Finnish Zerg/Terran Nb.Lossilohi (aka Napoleon) and the Hungarian Zerg sas.Sziky, who recently managed to convincingly win ISL2, managed to qualify giving us yet two more Zergs for the next round, both of them beating a Protoss in the last match and denying the only race that is not in the mix yet to finally take a spot in the groupstage.

Sadly Sziky managed to leave before I could ask him the usual round up of questions, I got a hold of Lossiholi however, read below.

Did you think you would make it after seeing the bracket at first?

Lossilohi: Well, not really but I was really happy because Sziky was on the other side of the bracket (smiles).

Who was your hardest opponent?

Lossilohi: Well I guess dOTY was my hardest opponent but I was really scared to drop out of the tournament in round 1 against LRM)Choosy also.

What is your impression of the event so far?

Lossilohi: Very good players playing it, also nicely organized but I really don't like that the first two rounds are bo1.
