Managed by ESL, online qualifications will soon run for 32 European countries to allow teams to take part in the ESWC Grand Finals which will be held from 24th to 25th of October in Paris, France.
Players from countries which did not hold a dedicated qualification tournament so far can choose to register for this round of qualifications for a slot in the finals. The top four teams from the qualifier will earn themselves a slot in the ESWC Grand Finals as well as a waiver of the entrance fee (€200 per player, €1000 per team).
On top of that, Places 1 and 2 will additionally be sponsored for hotel accommodations. However, application procedures still apply and the entrance fee will only be refunded should teams manage to reach top 4 placing in the qualifiers. Participation in the online qualifiers will require another small payment of €50 per team.
