Erik Johnson:"We want to do an event like this once a year."

Good news folks, it seems that Valve is not down with just "The International" with project manager of Valve, Erik Johnson, revealed that they plan to have one every year.

In an interview with Dealspwn.com, Erik Johnson said that they have plans to hold an event similar to "The International" yearly which gathers the best players from all around the world.

While it is unknown whether the prize pool will be as large every year, it is safe to say that we will be seeing more ventures from Valve into the competitive DotA scene.
