EG'Puma is the second semi-finalist at IEM Cologne after triumphing over Nerchio with a 3-0. He is to play Socke tomorrow for a place at the grand final.
Every faltering that Puma had yesterday disappeared instantaneously once the series started. Bunker pressure into 2-base marine/tank push crushed Nerchio on Metalopolis when the zerg was to eager to engage to advancing forces and not wait for additional units to spawn. The zerg entered the Shattered Temple only to be tormented by Puma's endless Banshee harass, losing 5-6 drones after every repair.
Puma was once again ruthless on Tal'Darim Altar, denying any long-term plans that the zerg might have had. A yet another 2-base aggression spelled the end for Nerchio as far as his future at Cologne was concerned.
The next two semi-finalists will be decided by the end of today when MC meets Select and Mana goes against Moonglade. Tune back to ESL stream at 17:00 CET when the competition will resume.
