Dota 2 opens beta registration to the public

With Gamescom opening in a few hours, Valve has announced the imminent arrival of Dota 2 on Steam at the same time. Interested beta participants may now sign up at the official Dota 2 website for a chance to test the game before it is released.

We are anticipating a rush for signups this afternoon when the game is publicly featured at Gamescom. Sign up immediately and reserve your chance to try the game before others do.

All you need is a Steam account which you can register via the tournament site. Registration is free and would only take a couple of minutes - so what are you waiting for?
