TT1 and Kiwikaki keep themselves afloat in the NA Battle.net Invitational, knocking Ostojiy and DDE out of the tournament. Their opponents are to be decided soon, once Round 2 of the Winners Bracket resumes.

TT1 achieved a 2-0 victory over Ostojiy with a solid protoss style, relying heavily on gateway/colossus composition. TT1's fast expos gave him an advantage that Ostojiy could not break and as he lost the second set on Shattered Temple, the Canadian Zerg fell out of the tournament.

Kiwikaki and DDE played a full round of sets for the first time in the NA Invitational. After a tense first game, Kiwikaki suffered his worst preigniter nightmare on Altar, as his worker casualties numbered more than 80. DDE used the unusual PvT composition of hellions/tanks to finish the protoss and force a third set. He could not, however, finish his terran mission as this time Kiwi's defences were too tight to be breached and the protoss jumped towards victory, carried by the power of his blink/chargelot/colossus mix.

Next on the schedule is the WB Ro4 with Idra vs Sheth (loser to play TT1) and Huk vs Select (loser to play Kiwikaki). Games resume at 01:00 CET.
