The "bad boy of eSports" as Idra has been called lots of times is the fourth winner in the first round of games at the North American Battle.net Invitational. EG's ace zerg 2-0'ed DDE and proceeds to the Ro4.

In an interview for MyEG, Greg "Idra" Fields commented his first opponent in the tournament, sounding confident about the upcoming games.

- " I lost to him in one tournament final because I didn’t realize he does random 2 base allins every game. I’ve beaten him easily in the last 2 series we’ve played. He’s not a threat unless we get bad maps."

Tonight, Idra backed up his words with a 2-0 victory over the Canadian terran, although the first set on Metalopolis was hardly a walk in the park. For almost 40 minutes Idra fought for his life as his third was sniped early in the match. But Idra kept inching his way into a favourable position and despite DDE's phenomenal resistance, the Zerg scored a 1-0 lead after his Brood Lords proved just too much.

In the second and final set on Shakuras, DDE opened with a very strange build, beginning with 3-tech lab barracks and transitioning into mass thor/hellion composition. Idra reacted flawlessly after scouting the factories and turtled his way into invincibility, crushing the terran forces with ease as they crashed into a wall of spine crawlers.

Idra will meet Sheth in the Ro4 shortly after the games resume at 22:40 CET.
