One of the newest Liquid recruits Shawn "Sheth" Simon prevailed over Reign's Kiwikaki in two tense games and advances to the Ro4.
In the frantic set on Shakuras, Kiwikaki opened with the insane 1-gas 8-gate pressure but Sheth miraculously held be the skin of his teeth and pushed the game into its mid phase. It was then and there, though, that his biggest mistake started to cost him a lot - forgetting to research Roach speed, Sheth lost a battle after battle and Kiwikaki started to crawl back into recovery. But in the final engagement, Sheth's infestors came to save the day and the zerg snatched the victory in an incredible fashion, forcing an expression of disbelief on Shawn's face.
The second set was a bit less frantic and ended as Sheth baited the protoss forces away from the third nexus and killing it in the process. He then returned home to crush the remainder of Kiwi's army and winning the series.
The final game from the first round between Idra and DDE is currently on the stream, the winner to face Sheth in the semi-final.
