Last Saturday, South Korea found its 32 best StarCraft 2 players. They will soon be put against each other to find the top 3 who will represent the country at the World Cyber Games 2011.
144 players had been divided into 24 groups during the WCG Korea Qualifier stage on August 6th and after tons of games, the winner of each group was seeded into the National Finals groups. They were complemented with the top 8 from the GSL ranking (calculated prior to GSL July) to form the complete 32-player list.

Due to the heavy competition, many fan favorites and champions of new and old could not find their way to the final 32. Such include FruitDealer, Losira and Bomber (falling in the first round) and DongRaeGu and MMA who were eliminated at their final match.
The dates for the Korea National Finals are not yet announced but will supposedly be either in September or in very late August.
There are already four players from other countries that qualified for the WCG Grand Finals: Morrow for Sweden, Welmu and Elfi for Finland and ToD for France.
