Two of the best protosses in the world Johan "Naniwa" Lucchesi and Chris "HuK" Loranger are the first two invites for the DreamHack Valencia Invitational. Six more will join them in the following weeks before the tournament starts in mid September.
Both invites have an impressive list of achievements behind their backs. HuK's recent successes include first places at HomeStory Cup #3 (won over Naniwa himself) and DreamHack Summer 2011 as well as his forthcoming Code S run in GSL August. Naniwa, on the other hand, finished Top 8 at MLG Anaheim and 2nd at EU Battle.net Invitational and will represent Europe at both Blizzcon and GSL Code A.
DreamHack Valencia is scheduled to kick off on September 17th and will offer a €10,800 prize pool. The top two from Valencia will also earn wild-card spots for DreamHack Winter 2011 to be held November 24th.
