The Ukrainian beast Kas is sure to advance to the elimination phase of Assembly Summer after beating ex-War3 maestro Grubby in a most entertaining series.
The aggressive terran met the Dutch legend and, luckily for him, succeeded in conquering him with a 2-1. His wins came in the first and third sets, played on Terminus and Altar respectively. In a very contrasting manner, Kas triumphed after a long and tense game on Terminus and 4-rax/SCV rushing on Altar.
Despite his defeat, however, Grubby still played amazingly, showing a peculiar yet highly effective build on Shakuras, that started with a Sentry/Colossus push which transitioned into a heavy and deadly contain. Kas's SCV count constantly dwindled down as he was forced to pull workers off if he was to keep his wall-off standing. Definitely a game that must be checked out by tosses who are searching for ways to diversify their openings.
With a 2-0 score so far, Kas is guaranteed to qualify from the group stage but is still yet to play Lalush for the first place.
