With the completion of groups B and C, four more players find their way to the elimination bracket. Those are group winners Morrow and Sarens, joined by Seiplo and SEn as the runner-ups.
Morrow played an amazing final series against Merz, the latter being one of the favorites for qualifying from the group stage. Merz played well but, unfortunately for him, the astonishing macro from Morrow was just too much and as he failed to win the early game in the final set on Tal'Darim, Merz fell to Morrow's superior army composition, stacked up with multiple ultralisks and infestors. Having lost to Seiplo 0-2 earlier, Merz could not get his hands on the very important 2nd place in the groups and is out of ASSEMBLY Summer.
In group C, SEn stood undefeated until his final set against the French Terran Sarens. The terran won the series 2-1, topping Group C and proceeding happily to the elimination bracket.
Next on ASSEMBLY's schedule are the matches from group D, including players like TLO, Happy, Sjow and Adel.
