FARM4FAME 3: M5 and GGnet catch up

Moscow5 win back ground in the FARM4FAME standings. After moderate performances in the first three tournaments, the Russian squad achieved a full victory by beating GGnet in a tough and enduring series 2-1.

Team GosuGamers on the other hand was not able to pass the toughest challenge since their reformation, after four consecutive wins against nevo, DRz, FEARZ and sT. Weakened by the absence of side-solo player Pajkatt, for whom German gank and semi-carry player rmN was called up as a replacement, GGnet caught a good first game relying on a strong Doom Bringer by KuroKy.

Highlight of the evening marked the second game, featuring a high amount of action and an unorthodox hero compilation by M5. A strong Sand King by Santa and a solid Omniknight by Dread, supported by a dual-roaming Crystal Maiden and Ogre Magi delivered fierce battles against GGnet, who despite doing their best to keep the opposition in place, forgot Gods farming Sylla bear.

The night transitioned into an ill-fated ending however, plagued by two drops and countless remakes and reloads. Under massive effort, the last game came to a conclusion nontheless, with M5 catching the better end in the essential clashes. Todays match also marked the debut of the new DotA website joinDOTA, introduced by TobiWanKenobi who commentated the best of thee series on the in-house own3d channel.

The new ranking shows MYM and Na`Vi in the driving seats, followed by GGnet, M5 and nevo. Only the top two finishers of the ranking qualify to the concluding playoffs directly. Teams from the places three to eight have to go through a relegation stage, from which another two will join the finals.
