Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson, the Evil Genuises Protoss player and front figure for NASL has decided to no longer commentate the NASL. This was announced at the end of yesterday's North American Star League Open cast. Instead he will focus all his time on his career as a progamer.
Having a long and successful Brood War career crowned with a first place in 2007 at the World Cyber Games USA national finals, iNcontroL has yet to emboss his name on a championship trophy. His highest peak was when he placed 4th at MLG Dallas in April. He was also one game away from qualifying into GOMTV's third season of the GSL.
His recent 22nd place finish at MLG Columbus earlier this month was another sign of his skill drop.
iNcontroL recently left the popular podcast show State of the Game for similar reasons. SOTG is a weekly podcast where JP McDaniel, Sean "Day[9]" Plott, Tyler "NonY" Wasieleski and iNcontroL discussed competetive matches, leagues and meta game development.
The NASL will continue with a second season, in which Robinson has stated he will make guest appearances.
