Fenix is the 7th Open Winner Bracket Round 6 finalist as he went through Vibe with a 2-0 score after displaying his signature high-aggression play.
Peruvian Terran and Fnatic member Fenix proceeds to the WB final round after Vibe proved no obstacle for his aggression. Hellion plus Banshee harass on Testbug put Fenix ahead of Vibe but the Zerg somehow managed to draw the set into a long macro game. After several relentless pushes from Fenix, though, Vibe crumbled down as his forces melted down before the bio/tank forces.
A scary bunker rush opened the set on Shakuras Plateau, forcing Vibe to throw spine crawlers to stay alive. After dealing with that Vibe tried to counter attack but crashed into the supply depot wall, behind which Fenix was going pure mech, throwing down a double factory followed by an armory. He soon exploded with massive Thor numbers and as he moved to crush Vibe's third, a muta micro fail by the Zerg led to the slaughtering of his whole army in two hits.
Fenix will now play Morrow for a seed in the pools. The only remaining top 8 finalist will come from Thorzain vs Shadow, which is being played at the moment, the score being 1-1.
