Triumph of the Ukraines and the Americans

With the action-packed Grand Finals just minutes away, know what you need to expect by looking back into the tournament's semi-finals: Denmark Vs Ukraine and USA Vs Croatia.

DENMARK vs. UKRAINE

Game 1:
With the pendulum swinging towards neither MYM nor Na'vi in the Darer showmatch, the Na'vi roster Ukrainian clan looked anchored to their gameplay having the last laugh. Game 1 of Denmark Vs Ukraine though was a complete annihilation by the Danes with a 10-1 early lead, from there on there was no looking back. Also, with Maelk's ES, Allez's Rylai and a beyond godlike Kinga's Morphling Ukraine looked pretty much defenseless against their onslaught. Although, they fought back well, Denmark was in full control of the game and therefore Game 1 a 39-19 loss to Ukraine.

Game 2:
Ukraine desperately needed to out-pick Denmark to have any chances to go to the next round. Choosing to go with the Guardian Wisp, as their first pick and Pudge as their last, it looked like a gamble and not everyone was sure of their strategy. Dendi (Wisp) and Ar7style (Pudge) soon though cleared all ambiguity playing so aggressive and elegant at the same time. This combo left no stone unturned extorting every possible kill anywhere on the map with Dendi taking Pudge all over the place. After an early Vanguard Ar7style chose to go for an all attack Pudge and it worked surprisingly well to Ukraine's favor.

Game 3:
A very close game this. With the scores level at 11-11 and the Bo3 score at 1-1, it looked like it could go either way. Both teams were set to take a defense strategy and take it to a late game fight. 818 (Necrolyte) had other plans, leading his team to take Roshan and the 2nd bottom tower soon after. 818's game play looked like he wanted to finish this with one last push. The Danes however were not willing to let go without a heavy fight. And then it happened, From the 25th min mark to the 31st, A 6 min Team fight which was executed to perfection by both teams. Both sides playing very aggressively to take down the other. But Necro's Ages and a spamming thrall made the difference and Ukraine had taken it. Ukraine go through.

USA vs. CROATIA

Game 1:
USA entered this round exceeding expectations startling the gaming world with their enhanced game play. Croatia on the other hand were determined to stop USA's winning streak. Ukraine showed us the potential of Zmaj playing a carry wherein he played drow ranger and made heavy inventory very quick. He made the difference with his spot on silences and on Bkb was no match against the USA's line up for this game. A good fight from the US side, Powernet (Morphling) had 400 cs by the end of the game but dint get enough support from his side as compared to the aide Zmaj got from his team mates.

Game 2:
Just like Ukraine, US needed good drafting. Fear drafted amazingly well, giving US an upper hand. Zmaj (Spectre) with the highest hero kills and creep stats couldn't stop the endless attacks carried out by USA. Fear (Undying), Bulba (Leshrac) and Demon (Rexxar) kept pushing till they got Mega Creeps in mid and kept going on along with Powernet (Rylai) and Lua (Visage) until they got Mega Creeps in all three lanes. Finally, it was too much force for Croatia to battle against and it ended with US dominance which should help them in the final face-off between the two sides.

Game 3:
This final game had Powernet playing Doom and Bulba playing Sand King, both had fiercely dominated in lane. The bot lane was a Tri for both sides and both were playing it safe. A lot was at stake here in the final game it was all about who was stronger when it mattered. Powernet lead his team with brute force, and with the help of Bulba's Sk it was a clean sweep against Croatia and the USA win the Bo3 and go through.
