SMM adds SC2 to the mix

Since its inception back in 2006, SMM Grand National DotA Tournament has gathered the best teams around to compete, making it one of the biggest gaming tournaments held in Malaysia. And it's just about to get bigger.

Last year's edition saw EHOME take home the crown after losing it to team FTD in 2009. The event drew in massive crowds from around the nation as well as some from overseas. How can it get bigger? By adding StarCraft 2 into the mix.

That's right folks - along with DotA, SMM has decided to hold a state level SC2 tournament. The SC2 tournament will run in various states of Malaysia and feature a very unique 3v3 matchup, as opposed to the usual 1v1.

Qualifiers for the DotA and SC2 tournaments will run at the same time and span most states. Venues and dates are available below.
