The league in itself was highly challenging and competitive, with top tier participants from all over Europe. The game types included in the first season were the Shadow Fiend 1 on 1, DotA 5v5 and the DotA 1v1.

The DotA 1v1 had 128 participants who battled it out in a single elimination format. 13aby Knight topped the charts, claiming himself $50 in prize money. The runners up will be awarded with a vouch in the SAG league, or promotion to the Veteran rank if they have already been vouched.
The 1v1 Shadow Fiend wars also saw pretty exciting match-ups. 128 participants took part in the Dark Lord's fight against his own image, and it was Uzumakinaruto who emerged victorious, and became the proud winner of the $50 prize money.
Team nfinity won the 5v5 tournament, with Virus and Mojawi claiming the two runners-up positions. "I think the tournament was a big challenge. SAG and the teams that participated displayed a lot of professionalism throughout. I see bright future in SoftAreaGaming`s tournaments." said Kepsuk^, captain of Mojawi.
SAG has announced the start of Season 2 on their website. The doors of the league open tomorrow at 00:00 CET.
