Uniquely Toxi talks DotA, life and interests outside of DotA

Dota.by interviewed one of the players from team Unique. 18-year-old Serbian Stefan Stamatovic - otherwise known as TOXI - talks about his team, real life and why he is a fan of Russian DotA.

When and how did you start playing DotA?
I've been playing DotA for around five years now (and competitively for two-and-a-half of those). I started playing it with real life friends in a net café.

A month ago, the FM team joined the Unique organization, and you were one of the players added to the roster. How did you join the team?
After my team Annie disbanded, I heard that FM was searching for another support player, and so I joined the team.

Tell us a little about your team. Who performs what roles?
Asuna is an all-round player and the team leader/drafter. Et is our carry/semi-carry player. BABAR is a worldwide star :D and also our carry player. Massive is also a carry player, and. Snoop is our support player. As for me, I'm the uber pro mega support player :D. Aya, aodh and Pro1like are our substitute players at the moment, and the three of them also play the carry role.

This is not the first team Unique formed in DotA, as they had a previous roster, which disbanded a year ago. Do you think you can achieve greater success than the old team?
If ducky was in that team (if I remember correctly), then we cant achieve better because he is the most uber pro guy ever !

Will your team will play at the major LAN tournaments this year? Do you plan to go to the OSPL in Kazakhstan?
I think we will play in some major LAN tournaments, but I'm not sure about OSPL.

You're also playing for Serbia in the MYM Prime Nations tournament. What do you think about the tournament, its organization, format, etc.?
Thist tournament is really epic. It's something like a football world championship :D in which all the teams are good :D I look forward to more of series of this tournament.

Soon your team will play with the Croatian national team, which recently registered a surprise result by beating Denmark. What do you think about them? Are you not afraid to play against Lacoste?
We are friends with the Croatian DotA players, especially Lacoste :) So no; we are not afraid of him, and we look forward to the match. :)

You said you are a fan of Russian DotA. Which of the Russian teams do you like most, and why?
I especially like PGG/TR mix teams, but also all Ukranian/Russian teams, because they play very aggressive DotA, which is the style I like most, and they've showed world that you can win important games versus the best teams with it.

Can you name your top three teams in the world?
I can, but there is no such thing as “three top teams”, so I'll put a list of teams which I think are best: Scythe.sg, NV.cn/Ehome, Na'Vi.

Tell me about your real life. Do you have any hobbies or interests?
I like to go house, techno and trance parties a lot. I also go to the gym. But I waste a lot of my time betting on football games, to drinking with my friends. :)

What other games do you like to play besides DotA?
I used to play World of Warcraft before DotA, but now with playing DotA I sometimes play a game or two of StarCraft 2 with Terrans. :P

What do you think about DotA 2, which Valve is currently developing with IceFrog? What do you expect from this game?

I hope that it will allow DotA to become an equal or an even bigger e-sports game than Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, StarCraft 2 etc.

Well, that's all! Thank you for answering my questions. Any shout-outs?
Shout-out to: LUCI; GREEDY; GARTER; CeLa; Zoltan; Ichigo; Emir.ba; DZAJA; PGG; shark; KGB net cafe's; and everyone who supports me and my team. A special hello to our sponsors and the best organisation in the world, Unique-eSport!
