Carlo "ClouD" Giannacco is one of the ten Terran players entering the European Championship of the Intel Extreme Masters.
- "It's definitely harder to play against top protoss players right now than terran players," says clouD on his team website.
The Italian international is paired up with SjoW, SarenS, PredY, GoOdY and Socke in group B. After a bit of a break from the German progaming life in Leipzig, Giannacco is back with fresh motivation.
- "I decided I would play a lot more in this new year and this small break was very good to get some rest and motivation back. I have great goals and I will do everything I can in order to achieve them," says ClouD.
- "I want to place in the top 3 of all the upcoming major tournaments. I don't know if it could be possible in at IEM due to the very high amount of TvTs but I will indeed try my best since I think my chances are not that bad, " says ClouD and continues: "But passing the group alone will be extremely hard. I have a few strategies to use against different players, I hope it works well," hopes the Italian.
Intel Extreme Masters: European Championship in Kiev, Ukraine, kicks off tomorrow, January 20.
